1. Acceptance of Terms

LidPulse ("the App") is developed and operated by MayOs. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. License

LidPulse grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on macOS devices that you own or control. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its contents
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Rent, lease, or sublicense the App to any third party
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App

3. One-Time Purchase

LidPulse is sold as a one-time purchase. After payment, you receive a perpetual license to use the version of the App you purchased, including any free updates released for that major version. We do not offer subscriptions.

4. Permitted Use

The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use on your own Mac. You may install the App on up to two (2) Macs that you personally own or use.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App — including all code, sound assets, graphics, and design — remain the exclusive property of LidPulse and its creator. All rights not expressly granted here are reserved.

6. Sound Content

Built-in sounds bundled with the App are either original recordings, licensed under royalty-free commercial licenses, or sourced from Pixabay under their Content License. You may not extract, redistribute, or repurpose these sound files outside of the App.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Use of the App is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LidPulse and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. macOS Compatibility

The App requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. We do not guarantee compatibility with future versions of macOS, though we will endeavour to maintain compatibility where reasonably possible.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the App or our website.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. LidPulse is a product of MayOs.
